I will need written veterinary consent in order to commence treatment. This is a legal requirement and helps ensure that your vet knows about and is happy for treatment to go ahead and that there is nothing in your dogs health and history that might be a contraindication. Contact me for the veterinary consent form.

I will send you some pre-treatment paperwork to complete. This helps me to build a picture not only about your dog's case history but also their day to day to day life. I will also ask you to take some specific photos and videos of your dog. This will be very helpful for me preparing a postural/gait analysis.
If any of this is too tricky, don't worry, we can fill in any blanks or take any photos/videos at the initial session. This just allows me to be a bit more prepared and and ensure we get more out of your first session.
I will be working away in the background with the information you have given me to prepare a postural and gait analysis and to tailor treatments and advice to your dog's specific needs.
I come to your home to meet your dog and you. We discuss the information you have provided and fill in any blanks. I also get the opportunity to observe your dog in the home and add any observations or extras that may come up to the notes and treatment plan.
As well as making friends with your dog (very important), I will commence with my initial treatment, letting your dog set the pace. This is very important in all treatments but particularly as this is the first one and your dog and I are still getting to know one another and building a relationship based on trust. I will work with your dog at ground level or low level where they are more comfortable.
Please allow up to 90 minutes for this session.
Treatments continue in your home. It is recommended that your dog receives 3 initial treatments spaced 7-12 days apart to allow time for the body to adjust and the treatments to take affect. After these sessions your dog should be experiencing an improvement in their condition and you will be equipped with some new skills and knowledge to best help your dog. After these initial treatments, your vet will receive a report.
You may have lots of questions pop into your head throughout this process and I encourage you to ask away!
Please allow up to 60 minutes for these sessions.
